To become fully proficient in using the device, Ultraformer Nordic provides the necessary training as an add on, when purchasing the device. Ultraformer Nordic is head of training and responsible for training of all practitioners in the Nordic region. To get the full theoretical and practical knowledge and experience, it requires one full day of training, assuming the practitioners have an educational background of a nurse or doctor.

Iceland: In Iceland, there is currently no need for a qualification such as a nurse or doctor to perform Ultraformer treatments. It is however recommended that a clinic, considering performing Ultraformer treatments, frequently confirms with the Icelandic Medicines Agency (IMA) for the most up to date legislation as these might change occasionally. Faroe Islands: To operate the device in Faroe Islands, it is a legal requirement to be a certified nurse or doctor. If it is a nurse operating the device, it is still a requirement to have a registered doctor connected to the clinic. This is defined in Bekendtgørelse om Kosmetisk behandling (nr 834 af 27/06/2014), kapitel 2, § 23, as well as kapitel 4, §10, stk 3, 1 and § 12.

Ultraformer III treatments delay the natural aging process of the skin, especially with yearly recurring treatments. Ultraformer III treatments are not invasive, and thus not compatible with cosmetic surgeries. Ultraformer III is an alternative for patients that wish to avoid cosmetic surgeries. Clinical studies show high efficacy and results in skin elasticity 4-6 months after treatment.
Instantly after treatment, the client will experience visible effects. It happens, as the pre-existing collagen is reacting to the HIFU/MMFU by retracting. This results in an instantly firming of the skin, which the client will be able to see immediately. These effects are not directly connected to the treatment, but should be considered a positive side effect.
The durability:
The durability of the treatment is one-two months, after which, the pre-existing collagen will relax again, and the client will experience a minor relapse.
Following a treatment, the natural collagen production of the body will create new collagen for up to 6 months. After this, the effect will show for around one year. It is recommended that the client repeats the treatment once every year.
The treatment process always starts with a consultation, where the physician, based on inquiries and contra indications from the client, determines whether an Ultraformer III is the right treatment for the patient. The physicist assesses, advises and informs the patient in accordance with either SST guidelines (Denmark) or similar legislation in other Scandinavian/Nordic countries. Purchasing an Ultraformer III device is a great investment with a high ROI. Apart from purchasing the machine, there are a few other costs related to the treatments, training of staff as well as maintenance of the device.
Purchasing the device is a one time investment with no further costs related to it. There is however variable expenses connected to the treatments such as replacing cartridges, cremes, gels, sanitizers, etc. The variable expenses are however very low, estimated to be around 2-5% of the turnover, depending on local costs and individual pricing structures of treatment. There are no requirements in terms of pricing the treatments.

After purchasing a device, the future practitioners need to have the proper training to operate the device with best results. Ultraformer Nordic is head of education in the Nordic region and provides highly professional training and counseling of practitioners and clinics. To be fully proficient in operating the Ultraformer III device, one full day of training is required. If your staff needs more training, it is possible to buy more training. Training of one staff member is included in the price when purchasing the device. Training of more staff can easily be added on.
Once a year, the Ultraformer III device has to undergo a mandatory service check from certified engineers. The costs of service checks and other maintenance of the device are to be covered by the clinic or owner of the Ultraformer III device.
